According to the intentions of Hideo Kojima, the game serves as a form of a prologue that lets the players accommodate to the changes in the gameplay mechanics.
The action of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes takes place after the events of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Paz and Chico are held prisoner in the heavily-fortified Omega camp. They both have information on Snake and his military organization. Snake and Kaz Miller have to penetrate the enemy territory and rescue the hostages.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes for PS4, PC and etc., just like its predecessors, is a stealth-action game that combines dynamic action sequences with the necessity of operating in shadows.
