I love the intersection of #digital and #sustainability, solutions that matter to people who want to both buy and live.1️⃣ Digital product passports (#DPP) will become a standard mandate across all industries in the European Union sooner rather than later. 2️⃣ DPPs require #blockchain, #data, digital solutions, #supplychain, sustainability, and other teams to work together so that (B2B and B2C) customers can access product information via QR code, NFC chip, or some tag. 3️⃣ DPP information will include "... details on [product] composition, manufacture, supply chain, sustainability, recyclability, ownership, etc."4️⃣ DPPs aim to increase product lifecycle transparency and traceability while decreasing the product's environmental impact. Although I love cars, I knew Amsterdam (my current home) is a city of the future but Dublin and London (my past homes) are not. Cities of the future, such as Afuá, a Brazilian municipality in Pará state, lead by (thanks to Odimar Wanderley Salomão, the mayor) example. I remember the night of May 17, 2004, though I did not know how historic it was at that very moment. I was cycling home from our weekly large family hangout on Pearl Street in Cambridge.
