Basem*nt - Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach Guide - IGN (2024)

Another area you'll revisit a couple of times throughout your playthrough, the basem*nt is where Gregory has the opportunity to make Chica a pizza at 01:00 AM and where he eventually dismantles the pizza-loving animatronic at 04:00 AM. There are tons of collectables scattered throughout its all halls too.

For those looking to snag every single collectable in the area, follow this guide to find all the bags and gifts. There are no CDs in the basem*nt, so fortunately, you won't have as much to track down.

All the Bags and Gifts in The Basem*nt

The basem*nt ties together several areas, including the Loading Dock, the Laundry Room and the Kitchen. It can be accessed via the elevator at the back of Salads and Sides.

Bag #1

The first bag can be found in the office connecting to the security room where you access the Chica pizza mini-game. After exiting the office, use the hallway directly ahead and follow the path to reach the office. The bag can be found on the table by the sofa.

Bag #2

After descending the stairs from the security office overlooking the kitchen, take a left to find a bag by a set of double doors marked "staff only".

Bag #3

Found just next to the trash compactor in the kitchen. If you're grabbing it during the 01:00 AM section, Chica will be nearby, so be careful.

Bag #4

Found in the laundry room section where Chica hunts down Gregory. If you've forgotten where that is, it's just next to the kitchen. Head out to the Loading Dock area and enter the door on the left-hand side of the room.

After you've entered the bathroom you first see Chica in, head forwards, enter the room ahead and then walk towards the two laundry bins. Take a right and you'll see a bag at the end of a long line of showers.

Bag #5

Found in the corridor between the laundry room and the kitchen. To access it, enter the door to the right of the trash compactor. When in the corridor ahead, directly turn right and enter the small cupboard next to you to find the bag. (This bag had been claimed prior to the screenshot, so the pink circle above indicates the bag's position).

Bag #6

Found in the hallway by the elevator up to the Atrium. Take the first left when following the path from the elevator door to find the bag.

Bag #7

Found in the large, empty room accessed via the Basem*nt elevator corridor. When exiting the elevator, follow the path and take a left when the opportunity arises. Inside the room ahead, you'll find a bag sitting on a table in the centre being guarded by security bots.

Gift #1

Found in the ruined security office near the exit of the vent you use to reach the Loading Dock at 01:00 AM. For those that haven't used the vent, it's next to Salads and Sides. Head through the vent, slide down and, after emerging from the room ahead, take a left and follow the path around to a metal shutter. Inside, you'll find the gift.

Gift #2

Found in the office connecting to the security room where you access the Chica pizza mini-game. After exiting the office, use the hallway directly ahead and follow the path to reach the office. The bag can be found behind one of the desks.

Gift #3

Located in the laundry room. When entering the bathroom where you encounter Chica during the 01:00 AM Loading Dock segment, use the door ahead. You'll find yourself in a laundry room. Look for a row of red showers on the left. In a shower in the middle of the row, you'll find a gift.

Gift #4

In between the laundry room patrolled by Chica and the laundry room patrolled by security bots, you'll find yourself in a room housing several shelving units. For those struggling to find it, it's where you emerge following your battle with Chica underground at 04:00 AM, so you'll see a save point to your left when you enter the room. Follow the maze of shelving units as far right as possible to find a gift.

Gift #5

Found in the laundry room patrolled by security bots. Use the path at the top of the area and follow it around until you see two doors on your left. The second door will lead to a cleaning cupboard with a cleaning bot and a gift.

Gift #6

Found in the large, empty room accessed via the Basem*nt elevator corridor. When exiting the elevator, follow the path and take a left when the opportunity arises. Enter the room ahead and walk to the far right side of the room to find a gift. It'll be behind a counter.

Gift #7

Found in the Servo Bot Silo accessed right after the Chica boss fight in the sewers. As you're climbing the stairs in the creepy area, look for a family of servo bots at a table midway up. You'll find a gift at the head of the table.
